The Swiss Universities played a particular role in this year's meeting of the European Association for International Education (EAIE). They were co-organizers of the meeting and were represented on a common and somewhat different stand. The stand was made entirely from recycled cardboard which was in the spirit of the universities' commitment to sustainability. Geritz Jaritz, coordinator for mobility and international relations at the Thurgau University of Teacher Education, represented the Thurgau University of Teacher Education.

All three types of universities took advantage of the meeting to increase their visibility and to improve the cooperation with their international partner universities. Thus, it was possible to talk to existing and potential partner universities on-site. In addition, the participants were inspired by a wide range of talks and workshops addressing the developments in the internationalisation of university education.
