The students were shown how to make a traditional New Year`s lanterns with primary school children and how to include these activities, including the cultural background, into lessons. The NTUE had send a large parcel in advance including all the necessary materials to be able to carry out the activities, as the week included many artistic elements, such as how to make a typical Peking Opera mask, or an introduction into the art of Chinese calligraphy.  

The three students involved perceived their participation as a huge enrichment and were impressed by the friendliness and «hospitality» of our Taiwanese partners!
